Missing Chitwan girl found at Sunauli entry point


CHITWAN, June 26: A girl, who had gone missing from Jagatpur in Chitwan district, has been found at Sunauli border entry point.

Representatives of KI Nepal rescued Apsara Adhikari from border point in course of search. 

Different organizations had carried out search for the girl after her family members informed the organizations about her missing, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.

She had gone missing from June 18. Adhikari is a student of class 10 at Laxmi Higher Secondary School, Jagatpur.

Adhikari had stolen Rs 5,000 from her house. The girl said that her friend Nitu Darai helped her to run away to India. 

Representatives of KI Nepal rescued the girl from the border point on the same day after they enquired about the girl seeing the girl heading towards India alone. 

Ganga Devi, mother of the girl, said that her daughter came in contact with the family members only after the dissemination of news about her missing.

Investigation into the case was underway, according to the District Police office, Chitwan.
